For the purposes of this disclaimer, an "Authorized Representative" is an individual who has been granted permission by an incarcerated person to act on their behalf in matters related to content management within the Digital Gallery, Video Archive, Music Library, Bibliography of Prison Authors, Other Initiative Features, and Exclusive Profiles.

3. User Participation

- Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 years old to utilize our website and services.

- Participation Risks: Participation in any of our programs, initiatives, or offerings, including the Digital Gallery, Video Archive, Music Library, Bibliography of Prison Authors, Other Initiative Features, and Exclusive Profiles, is solely at your own risk.

- Limitation of Liability: The Organization shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising from or in connection to the use of this site or its offerings, including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

By using our website and submitting content, you agree to these terms and confirm on the submission form that your content is either copyrighted or not. You must clarify whether submitted content is your original work or includes any elements created by others; you are responsible for securing all necessary permissions or licenses for any third-party material included in your submissions.

6. Authorized Representative

An Authorized Representative is an individual who can act on behalf of the incarcerated person regarding content management for the Digital Gallery, Video Archive, Music Library, Bibliography of Prison Authors, Other Initiative Features, and Exclusive Profiles.

- Security Code Requirement: The Authorized Representative must possess the security code provided during the submission process to make changes, updates, or requests for the removal of content and profiles.

​

- Revocation of Authorization: The incarcerated individual may revoke the permission granted to their Authorized Representative at any time. The Organization is obligated to honor this request.

- Submission of Requests: Revocation requests must be submitted in writing and sent from the facility where the individual is detained to the following address:

7. Permission and Usage

By submitting content, you grant the Organization permission to utilize your material for advertising, promotional purposes, and community engagement efforts, including but not limited to display on our website and social media platforms. Credit will be given to creators of content where applicable.

8. Requests for Removal of Content

- Exclusive Profile Removal: 

  - Requests to remove an Exclusive Profile must be made by:

      - The individual person incarcerated who initiated the request and signed the submission form, or

      - An authorized representative with the security code listed on the submission form.    

  - Requests by incarcerated individuals must be submitted in writing and originate from the facility where the individual is detained, mailed to:

  - Requests for the removal of content from the Digital Gallery, Video Archive, Music Library, or Bibliography of Prison Authors must be made by:

    - The individual person incarcerated who initiated the request and signed the submission form, or

    - An authorized representative with the security code listed on the submission form.    

  - Requests by incarcerated individuals must be submitted in writing to the address listed above.

9. Removal Request Considerations
